Homemade Marmalade


























 The store bought marmalade mostly too bitter for me.
I like to make my own the way I like , not too sweet ,not too bitter .
Love it !!

 5 oranges
1-1 1/2 c sugar
pinch of salt
1 lemon zest and juice

zeat and pulp the oranges, get the most orange part,
 try not to get the white part cause it cause the bitterness
 then sqeeze the juice in the pot

zest and juice the lemon ,put in the pot

add sugar and salt , put on the medium heat until boil

low the heat and let cook until  thick,  stir occasionally

put the hot jam in the clean jar
